Red Spark’s Palestinian Voices series shares statements and materials from the various factions of Palestinian resistance to Israeli occupation. To counter the distortions and spin promoted by the Australian state – a supporter of Israel – the solidarity movement must understand the reality in Palestine. This means being familiar with the political positions and perspectives of those on the ground.

Save Our People in the Gaza Strip from the Israeli Genocide

22 September 2025

With the continuation and intensification of Israel’s ongoing military aggression against our Palestinian people, and the escalation of unprecedented and wide-ranging war crimes of genocide being carried out in the Gaza Strip for nearly two consecutive years — using all types of modern weaponry, including internationally prohibited weapons — alongside the imposition of a suffocating siege, deliberate starvation and thirst, and the denial of basic food, medicine, and all necessities of life, while relentlessly destroying homes, institutions, shelters, and infrastructure including water and electricity networks, erasing entire neighborhoods and cities from the map, and pursuing systematic ethnic cleansing and forced displacement:

This has so far resulted in the killing, injury, or disappearance of no fewer than 230,000 Palestinian civilians, while 2.1 million civilians suffer extreme hunger, as the entire Gaza Strip has been reduced to rubble.

Accordingly, the Palestinian People’s Party once again issues this urgent call to all political parties, leftist and democratic social forces, parliaments, solidarity movements, defenders of freedom, justice, human rights, and international law, and to all free people of the world: to urgently intervene to compel the Israeli occupation government and its fascist system to immediately end the ongoing genocide against our people in Gaza, to save lives, and to turn expressions of sympathy and solidarity into real, political steps. This also requires translating the repeated international recognitions of the independent State of Palestine into concrete measures, through action on the following:

Expand and intensify all forms of popular and official protests against the comprehensive genocide, siege, and forced displacement imposed on our people, and exert maximum pressure on the U.S. administration and its allies to compel Israel to stop its bloody war, which relies on the latest American, European, and Israeli weaponry, some of which is internationally prohibited.

Impose a total ban on the supply of all types of weapons to Israel, and cancel all agreements in this regard, in response to its brutal and bloody use against unarmed civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza.

Boycott Israeli products and institutions across all sectors, end normalization, cut ties at every level and in all fields, halt investments in Israel, and impose sanctions on it.

Compel international bodies, especially the UN Security Council and General Assembly, to implement international law — foremost the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 in all occupied Palestinian territories — and to uphold the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, fulfilling their obligations under international law by taking serious and concrete measures to end Israel’s occupation and to implement UN resolutions on Palestinian rights.

Demand that UN member states expel Israel from the United Nations and all its agencies and organizations, and work to isolate it as an occupying and terrorist power guilty of all forms of war crimes and genocide against humanity, while rejecting recognition of any changes it has imposed on the status of occupied Palestinian land.

Pursue and arrest Israeli war criminals to bring them before international courts for their war crimes and genocide against humanity, and take all necessary measures at every level to end Israel’s and its leaders’ ongoing impunity.

Palestinian People’s Party, International Relations Committee member Shamikh Badra will be speaking in Melbourne on October 4, 6pm.
