Red Spark’s Resistance Voices series shares statements and materials from the various factions of Palestinian, Lebanese and Iranian resistance to Israeli occupation and the US-Israel imperialist war of aggression against Iran and Lebanon. To counter the distortions and spin promoted by the Australian state – which is a supporter and ally of both Israel and the United States – the solidarity movement must understand the reality in Palestine, Iran and the region. This means being familiar with the political positions and perspectives of those on the ground.

Iran slams UNSC resolution condemning Iranian attacks on US bases in Gulf countries

By Abdul Rahman, Peoples Dispatch (excerpt) 12 March 2026

Iran rejected the UN Security Council resolution condemning its attacks on the countries in the Gulf region and Jordan, calling it unjust and unlawful. The resolution also demands immediate halt of all Iranian attacks on the region.

“We do not recognize the council’s actions today. We consider it unjust and unlawful, inconsistent with the UN charter and international law, and an action that completely disregards the established principles governing the determination of acts of aggression and breaches of peace,” Iranian ambassador to the UN Amir Saied Iravani said after the adoption of the resolution.

The resolution sponsored by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) received 13 votes in favor and none against, with Russia and China abstaining.

The resolution condemns Iran’s attacks on the Gulf countries and Jordan and demands an immediate halt to its hostilities without mentioning Israeli-US attacks on Iran which caused the Iranian retaliations.

The resolution also demands an end to Iranian threats to maritime trade in the region. …

Iravani questioned the integrity of countries who voted in favor of the resolution. He claimed that they chose to ignore the “illegal illegitimate and unprovoked” military attacks against Iran which have resulted in the deaths of over 1,300 people, including 170 girls killed when a US missile hit their school and the “cowardly and terrorist assassination” of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Over 17,000 people have also been injured in the US-Israeli attacks in Iran which began on February 28.

Iran claims the US and Israel have targeted around 20,000 civilian installations in the last 12 days including schools, hospitals, historic monuments and essential services.

By presenting the resolution which only condemns Iranian retaliation and failing to identify the aggressors “it is evident that these countries are simply implementing political instructions from Washington rather than exercising independent judgment and decision,” Iravani said.

Iran demands concrete guarantees to end war, warns Gulf countries not to trust US

Report on statement by Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian

Via The Cradle (Telegram), 13 March 2026

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said Iran remains committed to peace in the region but stressed that ending the US-Israeli war requires concrete guarantees and recognition of Tehran’s rights.

In a post on X, Pezeshkian said that during talks with leaders of Russia and Pakistan, he reaffirmed “Iran’s commitment to peace in the region.”

He insisted that the “only way to end this war—ignited by the Zionist regime & US—is recognizing Iran’s legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and firm int’l guarantees against future aggression.”

Addressing the countries of the region: Do not trust the illusory power of the United States.

Washington does not even possess the capability to defend its own unsteady army.

America will not be able to provide security for the countries of the region.

Trust in Iran and its people, and let us be united for the unity of the Islamic world against the hypocrisy led by America and the zionist entity.

We forced the “Abraham Lincoln,” the largest American aircraft carrier, out of the region after they were causing terror and plundering the region’s wealth.

The “Abraham Lincoln” was taken out of service by the power of the state of Iran and was forced to flee in a historic defeat.

The end of the war is in our hands, and we will not consider ending it except under two conditions: first, that we receive full compensation for the damages, and second, that the United States withdraws from the Persian Gulf.

Iran calls for ‘serious review’ of Gulf ties amid US–Israeli war

Via The Cradle (Telegram), 16 March 2026

Iran’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alireza Enayati, said Tehran believes relations with Arab Gulf states require a “serious review” in light of the ongoing US–Israeli war on Iran.

Speaking to Reuters, Enayati emphasized that regional countries must reduce reliance on outside powers and deepen cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council states, Iraq, and Iran, arguing that decades of instability stem from “an exclusionary approach… and an excessive reliance on external powers.” Despite the tensions, he said Iran and Saudi Arabia remain in contact and that bilateral relations are “progressing naturally” in several areas.

Enayati also rejected accusations that Iran was responsible for attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure, including strikes targeting the Ras Tanura refinery and attempted drone attacks on the Shaybah oil field. “Iran is not the party responsible for these attacks, and if Iran had carried them out, it would have announced it,” he said, insisting Tehran is only targeting US and Israeli interests. He added that the war “has been imposed on us and the region,” and said a resolution requires the US and Israel to halt their attacks while regional states avoid involvement and secure international guarantees to prevent further escalation.

Iran sends a message to Muslims around the world and to the governments of Islamic countries

Via Resistance News Network, 17 March 2026

1. Iran was subjected to a deceitful American-zionist aggression that occurred during the negotiations, and the goal was to dismantle Iran.

The aggression led to the martyrdom of Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei and a number of civilians and military commanders, and the aggressors were met with solid national and Islamic resistance from the Iranian people.

2. You know that no Islamic country stood by the Iranian people, except for rare political positions.  Despite that, the people were able to suppress the enemy until it was unable today to find a way out of this strategic impasse.

3. Iran is continuing on the path of resistance in the face of the Great Satan and the Lesser Satan, meaning America and “israel”, but the position of some Islamic governments is contradictory to the saying of the Prophet (PBUH): “Whoever hears a man calling ‘O Muslims’ and does not answer him is not a Muslim.” So what kind of Islam is this?

4. Some countries said Iran has become an enemy for them because it targeted American bases and American and “israeli” interests on their lands. Should Iran stand idly by while American bases in your countries are used to launch attacks against it? These are flimsy pretexts.

The confrontation today is between America and “israel” on one side and Muslim Iran and the resistance forces on the other side, so on which side do you stand?

5. Think about the future of the Islamic world. You know that America is unfaithful and that “israel” is an enemy to you. Stop for a moment and reflect on yourselves and the future of the region. Iran is advising you and does not seek to dominate you.

6. The unity of the Islamic nation, if achieved with full strength, is capable of guaranteeing security, progress, and independence for all its countries.

Peace be upon you

Iran says Kharg and Abu Musa strikes launched from UAE

Via Drop Site News, 16 March 2026

Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi alleged on Saturday that attacks on Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export terminal, and Abu Musa in the Persian Gulf were carried out using HIMARS rockets fired from the United Arab Emirates. Araghchi said the launches came from two locations in the UAE—one in Ras Al Khaimah and another near Dubai—adding that Iran “will certainly retaliate” while attempting to avoid attacks on populated areas.

Araghchi says Strait of Hormuz only closed to “enemies”

Via Drop Site News, 16 March 2026

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a press conference in Tehran on Monday that the Strait of Hormuz is only closed to the U.S., Israel, and their allies. “They are asking other countries to come and help them so that the strait remains open. From our perspective, the strait is open, but it is closed to our enemies, closed to those who carried out this cowardly aggression against us and to their allies,” Araghchi said. Iran allowed two Indian-flagged LPG carriers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, according to Indian media reports.

Iran claims regional attacks are “false flag” operations meant to frame Tehran

Via Drop Site News, 16 March 2026

A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters said on Saturday that recent attacks on infrastructure in Turkey, Kuwait, and Iraq attributed to Iran are part of a deception campaign intended to drive a wedge between Tehran and neighboring states. The spokesperson claimed the United States and other hostile actors have copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone—developing what the U.S. military calls the “LUCAS” drone—and are using it to strike illegitimate targets across the region, adding that Iran only targets U.S. and Israeli interests and publicly claims responsibility when it carries out attacks. The IRGC made a similar claim about drone attacks in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, saying that the strikes in Riyadh and Sharqiya were not carried out by its military.

First statement of Iranian Supreme Leader Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei (excerpts)

Via Resistance News Network, 13 March 2026

We have thwarted the efforts to partition the country.

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz must continue.

The enemy’s bases in the region are intended to control its countries.

We believe in friendship with neighboring countries, but we are compelled to continue targeting the American bases within them.

We have been attacked from the enemy’s bases in neighboring countries, and we are compelled to respond.

As we have previously warned, we targeted those bases only without attacking those countries.

We will not hesitate to take revenge for the crimes committed by the enemy, especially the Minab school massacre.

We advise the countries of the region to close the American bases.

The people must be present in force in all arenas to thwart all the enemies’ schemes.

If the war situation continues, other fronts will be activated in which the enemy has no experience.

We have borders with 15 countries, and we have always desired and still desire to establish constructive relations with them.

The countries of the region must determine their position regarding the aggressors and the killers of our people.

We will obtain compensation from the enemy in any case; if they refuse, we will destroy their property to the same extent.

The countries of the region must have realized that America’s claim of establishing peace was nothing but a lie.

I sincerely thank the fighters of the resistance front.

The cooperation of the components of this front with one another shortens the path to getting rid of the zionist sedition.

As we have seen, brave and faithful Yemen has not stopped defending the oppressed people of Gaza, Hezbollah, the self-sacrificing, despite all obstacles, came to help the Islamic Republic, and the resistance in Iraq is also courageously following this path.

My deep sympathy with the families of the martyrs stems from a shared experience I had with them.

Alongside my father, whose loss has become a general affliction, I said farewell to my loyal and dear wife.

I lost my sacrificing sister who devoted herself to serving her parents and attained her reward, along with her young child and her husband.

What makes patience in the face of calamities possible, and even easy, is the trust in Allah’s definitive promise of a great reward for those who are patient.

I assure everyone that we will not overlook avenging the blood of your martyrs.

Iran slams US-Israeli attacks on historical sites as ‘systematic’ violation of international law

Press TV (excerpt), 15 March 2026

In a report published by Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts on Saturday, regarding the state of Iran’s cultural and historical monuments since the start of the Israeli-US aggression, the ministry said that at least 56 museums and historically and culturally significant locations have been damaged.

The ministry condemned these attacks in the strongest of terms and warned that the international community must not remain silent in the face of these war crimes, otherwise it is complicit in the Israeli regime and the US committing these atrocities against Iran.

Iranian Officials Say They Have Been Ignoring Witkoff’s Private Requests to Talk

By Jeremy Scahill, Drop Site News (excerpt), 17 March 2026

President Donald Trump has been leading a double life in prosecuting his war against Iran. In public, he regularly boasts that Iran’s military might has been decimated, its leadership killed off, and that the few officials remaining alive in Tehran are begging him to talk. “They want to negotiate. They want to negotiate badly,” Trump said Sunday night. “We’re talking to them. But I don’t think they’re ready, but they’re getting pretty close.”

Behind the scenes, it is the Trump administration that has been asking for talks. Two Iranian officials told Drop Site that Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff personally sent messages to officials in Tehran, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, last week exploring possibilities for resuming negotiations. Iran has not replied to Witkoff. The Iranian officials told Drop Site that Iran has also received messages from the White House via third countries.

Iraqi resistance challenges US regional domination and violation of Iraqi sovereignty

Statement by Al-Nujaba Movement Secretary-General, Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi

Via Resistance News Network, 13 March 2026

After we forced the American occupation to leave Iraq in disgrace through military resistance in 2010, they returned once more, investing in their miserable Daesh project—a pact whose orchestrators we know all too well. Therefore, following their withdrawal and their breach of agreements with the Iraqi government regarding the use of their bases to attack neighboring countries, and after proof of their involvement in internal sedition and malicious sabotage projects, the decision of the resistance is to cleanse Iraq of their filth at all levels: security, military, economic, and cultural.

Popular Mobilization Forces statement

Via Resistance News Network, 13 March 2026

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Popular Mobilization Forces expresses its categorical rejection and strong condemnation of the sinful aerial attacks that targeted its official headquarters in a number of Iraqi provinces, which were carried out by American aircraft, in a blatant aggression and dangerous violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and a clear transgression against its official security institutions.

These attacks affected the Popular Mobilization Forces’ headquarters in the provinces of Diyala, Kirkuk, Anbar, Nineveh, Saladin, Wasit, and Babil. These are official headquarters that operate within the Iraqi security system and in full coordination with the Joint Operations Command.

The total number of strikes reached 32 aerial strikes. Since the beginning of this month, these attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of 27 fighters and the injury of 50 others from the Popular Mobilization Forces, who were performing their national duty in defending Iraq, its security, and its stability, including 9 martyrs and 10 wounded in the aerial attacks that took place today. We affirm that these headquarters had no role in targeting American bases inside or outside Iraq, and that those who were martyred are innocent fighters who were practicing their official duties, and some of them were stationed on the borders to protect Iraq’s sovereignty and security.

The Popular Mobilization Forces, as an essential part of the Iraqi state’s security system, confirms its full commitment to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and also works in direct and continuous coordination with the Joint Operations Command in carrying out all its security and military duties.

In the face of these dangerous attacks, the Popular Mobilization Forces demands that all political forces take a firm national stance and clear measures to stop these repeated attacks targeting our heroic security forces, and what this represents as a direct infringement on the country’s sovereignty and the dignity of its security forces.

The Commission also affirms that the blood of the martyrs will not be wasted, and that these attacks will not deter the members of the Popular Mobilization Forces from continuing to perform their national and constitutional duty in protecting Iraq and its people. The members of the Popular Mobilization, as the Iraqi people have known them, will remain an impenetrable fortress and a firm dam against terrorism and anyone who attempts to undermine the security, stability, and sovereignty of Iraq.

Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs.

Speedy recovery to our wounded.

And pride and sovereignty to Iraq and its people.

Statement by Islamic Resistance in Iraq – Guardians of Blood Brigades

Via Resistance News Network, 16 March 2026

To our brothers in all security services, peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah.

Your blood is dearer to us than our own, and we would sacrifice our souls for you. We have refrained from proceeding with many operations multiple times upon seeing you near the locations of the despicable occupiers, out of our concern for your safety and fear that you might be harmed.

Therefore, our plea to you is to keep a sufficient distance from any place where the occupation soldiers are present or from their military sites throughout Iraq. Your presence has often tied our hands, and were it not for you, we would have scorched the earth with them and turned their bodies into charred carcasses.

Stay away from the occupiers; their locations are a hell that may ignite at any moment.

Lebanese Resistance faces international push for disarmament while withstanding Israeli assault

Statement Issued by the Patriotic Officers of the Lebanese Army opposed to Hezbollah disarmament (excerpt)

Via Al-Akhbar, 12 March 2026

Guided by the oath we swore to defend the homeland—its sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity—and in adherence to the constitution, the laws in force, and the established military traditions that govern the armed forces, we consider it our national and moral duty to express deep concern over decisions that could place the army in direct confrontation with national forces resisting external aggression on our land.

The national army was established to serve as the country’s shield and to safeguard its sovereignty. It was never meant to become a party to internal conflict among the people of the same nation. Its military doctrine, rooted in law and long-standing traditions, centers on defending the homeland, protecting its land and people, and preserving civil peace and the unity of the state.

Placing the army in confrontation with its own people, or tasking it with pursuing those resisting external aggression against the country, would set a dangerous precedent. Such a step carries serious risks for the cohesion of the military institution and for national stability, potentially weakening the army’s unifying role and exposing its internal unity to destabilizing strains whose consequences cannot be predicted.

Statement by Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah (excerpt)

Via Al-Akhbar (Telegram), 14 March 2026

We in Lebanon are engaged in a legitimate defensive battle to confront Israeli aggression.

We reiterated our warning several times, stressing that the opportunity would run out and that there is a limit to the continuation of the aggression and a limit to our patience.

On three occasions at three different stages, we convened at the leadership level to consult on responding to the aggression, but we judged that the timing was not appropriate.

In the past month, Israeli discussions focused on the necessity of carrying out a major attack against Lebanon, but the debate centered on the timing.

The Lebanese government has been unable to achieve sovereignty or protect its citizens.

There is no option but resistance; otherwise Lebanon is heading toward annihilation.

We have drawn lessons from the battle of “Uli al-Baas”, and we affirm that the enemy now does not have the ability to achieve its objectives.

We have prepared ourselves for a long confrontation, and they will be surprised on the battlefield, and the enemy will see our strength.

The Israeli-US aggression is the cause of what is happening in Lebanon, not the resistance; the resistance is a reaction to that.

We will not retreat, because this is a matter of our existence; this is an existential battle, not a limited or simple one.

The solution is clear: complete cessation of aggression, full Israeli withdrawal from the occupied territories, release of prisoners, the return of people to their villages, and the start of reconstruction.

The word now belongs to the battlefield.

Israeli incursions intensify in South Lebanon as clashes with Hezbollah expand

The Cradle (Telegram), originally published by Asharq al-Awsat, 16 March 2026

Hezbollah has scaled back attacks deep inside Israel as it shifts its focus to confronting expanding Israeli ground incursions in southern Lebanon, while Israel has widened its target list across Lebanese territory.

By Saturday afternoon, Hezbollah had issued 22 statements claiming attacks, most of them targeting Israeli military positions along the border, surveillance and air-defense systems, and settlements in northern occupied Palestine. The group also reported striking Israeli soldiers and vehicles inside Lebanese territory near Khiam, Maroun al-Ras, and newly established Israeli positions at Blat and Nimr al-Jamal opposite Alma al-Shaab, as well as areas around the Khiam detention center, west of Blida, and Khazzan Hill in Odaisseh.

According to sources in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah is prioritizing efforts to repel Israeli ground advances after the Israeli army launched incursions along at least four axes. Israel has also attempted to prevent reinforcements from reaching Hezbollah fighters in the south by striking key infrastructure, including bridges and crossings linking areas south of the Litani River with those to the north. Airstrikes also targeted roads between villages.

Sources said the campaign appears aimed at depopulating the south, with ambulances and civil defense units reportedly coming under attack. Lebanon’s National News Agency reported Israeli warplanes struck the Khardali road and bridge linking Nabatieh and Marjayoun near a Lebanese army checkpoint, leaving a large crater and completely cutting the road.

Israeli strikes have also targeted medical facilities and ambulance centers, killing 22 paramedics since the start of the war, according to Lebanese officials. The deadliest incident occurred when an Israeli strike hit a Ministry of Public Health primary care center in Burj Qalaouiyeh, killing 12 doctors, paramedics, and nurses. Another strike hit a gathering point for the Islamic Health Authority and the Al-Risala Scouts Association in Souwaneh, killing two people. The Israeli military claimed Hezbollah uses ambulances and medical facilities for military purposes and accused the group of transporting rockets and weapons in civilian trucks along Lebanon’s coastal areas.

Airstrikes and artillery bombardment have intensified across southern Lebanon, hitting towns including Majdal Zoun, Yater, Taybeh, Sajd, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Khiam, Naqoura, Kharayeb, Bint Jbeil, Ainata, Aitaroun, Maroun al-Ras, and the outskirts of Shebaa and Hasbaya, with clashes ongoing across multiple fronts. The escalation has also affected UN peacekeepers, with a UNIFIL position near Mays al-Jabal struck by heavy machine-gun fire, sparking a fire and lightly injuring a peacekeeper. UNIFIL said it had opened an investigation and reminded all parties of their obligation to ensure the safety of peacekeepers.

Hamas Statement regarding Israeli violence in the occupied West Bank

Via The Cradle (Telegram), 15 March 2026

The fascist Zionist occupation continues to escalate its crimes against our people in the West Bank, the latest being the horrific massacre of an entire Palestinian family in the town of Tamoun in the northern West Bank, after the criminal enemy opened direct fire on a vehicle carrying a father, a mother, and their two children, leading to their martyrdom.

As we mourn the heroic martyrs, we affirm that what occurred is a field execution and a new war crime added to the occupation’s bloody record against our people, revealing the criminal nature of the occupation forces that do not hesitate to kill women and children.

The occupation’s policy of spilling Palestinian blood will not succeed in spreading fear among our people. Rather, it will increase their determination, steadfastness, and defiance, and deepen the anger that will not end until the occupation is removed.

In response to this crime, we call on our people in the West Bank to escalate confrontation with the occupation at all points of contact, unite ranks, activate all forms of resistance, and make the occupation pay the price for its crimes.

Israel Kills 16 Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank in One Day

Quds News Network (excerpt), 16 March 2026

Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank killed at least 16 Palestinians on Sunday, according to health officials, marking one of the highest daily death tolls recorded in recent weeks.

Medics and Gaza’s Interior Ministry said an Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle near the entrance of the town of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza. The strike killed a senior police official along with eight other people who were traveling in the car.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that at least 14 others were injured in the same attack, most of them passersby who happened to be near the vehicle when the missile struck. …

Since the beginning of the genocide, Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted members of Gaza’s police and internal security services. Palestinian officials say the attacks aim to dismantle local law enforcement structures and spread chaos inside the besieged enclave.

Statement by Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qassem

Via Resistance News Network, 16 March 2026

The occupation is clearly and significantly escalating its massacres against the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the martyrdom of nine members of the Palestinian police, in a continuation of the war of genocide and a continuation of its violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The occupation’s targeting of security forces is a desperate attempt to spread chaos and lawlessness, and to pave the way for the rampage of its militias.

We call upon the countries mediating and guaranteeing the agreement to end the war on Gaza to exert pressure on the occupation to stop its aggression, adhere to what was agreed upon, lift the siege on the Gaza Strip, and open the crossings.

The decision of the “israeli” military prosecution to close the investigation files into the “Sde Teiman” detention center represents an attempt to cover up crimes of torture and sexual assault, and confirms the continued impunity for the perpetrators of these violations.

Closing the investigation despite the existence of video evidence constitutes a dangerous precedent in covering up crimes, and provides the perpetrators of torture and sexual assault with cover that prevents them from being held accountable.

We demand an independent international investigation into the crimes committed inside the “Sde Teiman” detention center, and that those responsible be held accountable in accordance with the rules of international law.

Humanitarian and food supplies entering the Gaza Strip have sharply declined since the start of the Israeli-US war on Iran, with only about 10 percent of the needed aid reaching the Gaza Strip.

Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director-General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, said Israeli restrictions on border crossings have significantly limited the entry of aid trucks. Only 640 trucks have entered the enclave out of the 6,000 that were expected under existing arrangements.

Fuel deliveries have also been heavily affected, with only 1,081 fuel trucks allowed in out of 7,400 needed, about 14 percent of the required amount. Cooking gas has not been permitted to enter at all.

Via Resistance News Network, 14 March 2026

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate reported that Israeli occupation forces have detained 22 Palestinian journalists in the West Bank since the beginning of 2026, amid a rise in violations targeting journalistic work and restricting freedom of media coverage.

The detentions were accompanied by raids on the homes of several journalists during nighttime operations, during which occupation forces damaged household contents, tampered with personal property, and confiscated phones, devices, and press equipment.

Some journalists were subjected to high financial fines, in addition to receiving expulsion orders preventing them from accessing Al-Aqsa Mosque or specific areas, measures the syndicate described as part of a policy aimed at tightening restrictions on Palestinian journalists.

We also consider it a noble stance that reflects a genuine commitment to human values.

As we highly appreciate this courageous Spanish position, we reiterate our call upon all countries of the world to sever all forms of relations with the Zionist entity and to exert pressure on it to stop its ongoing crimes and assaults against our Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.

Israel Killed Over a Dozen Lebanese Paramedics in Three Days, Now Claiming That Ambulances Are “Hezbollah” Targets

By Lylla Younes, Drop Site News (excerpt), 17 March 2026

In early October 2025, Lebanese paramedic Haj Qassem Sultan stood outside Marjayoun Government Hospital in southern Lebanon and addressed Lebanese TV.

“Our message is clear. Even if we are killed one by one, we will not abandon our duty,” he said. “We will continue to serve Khiam and Marjayoun and Al-Taybeh and Debbine and all of our sacred land.”

… On Friday, Sultan was killed in another Israeli strike on an Islamic Health Authority (IHA) medical center in Burj Qalaouiyah in southern Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil District. The bombing destroyed the facility, killing 12 people, including on-duty doctors, paramedics, nurses, and three patients.

… The day after the attack, Israel doubled down on its attacks on emergency workers with its military spokesperson claiming without evidence that Hezbollah was making “military use of medical facilities and ambulances” and that occupation forces would target them if they did not cease.

A strike on Monday on a house in Kfar Sir, just north of the Litani River killed one person. When an ambulance from the IHA arrived, a second strike killed two paramedics and wounded another, according to the state-run National News Agency. Two more IHA ambulances were targeted on Monday in separate strikes, killing four more paramedics.

Palestinian Resistance commemorates martyrdom of Rachel Corrie

Via Resistance News Network, 16 March 2026

On March 16 2003, American activist Rachel Corrie was crushed to death in Rafah, southern Gaza, when an IOF bulldozer ran over her, as she was trying to prevent it from demolishing a Palestinian home.

Wearing a bright vest and using a megaphone, Rachel, stood defiantly in front of the killing machine. Zionism knows no restraint. The driver ran over the 23-year-old unarmed American citizen, instantly killing her.

A zionist court described the murder as a “regrettable accident.” In the August 2012 ruling dismissing the claims of Rachel’s family, the judge placed the blame solely on Rachel for her own martyrdom, saying “she did not distance herself from the area, as any thinking person would have done.”

Decades have passed. Palestinian homes continue to be demolished, settlements continue to be made, and the blood-thirsty occupation continues to kill, in violation of all that is human and holy. Martyrs fall, one after the other for the homeland to rise, as our people continue to resist.

In an email sent to her parents, Rachel wrote: “I am discovering a degree of strength and of basic ability for humans to remain human in the direst of circumstances — which I also haven’t seen before. I think the word is dignity.”

Today, we honor Rachel. We honor her unwavering sense of solidarity that pushed her to stand for what she believed in until her last breath. We honor her love for the righteousness of the cause she believed in, and her will to abide by the truth, no matter the sacrifices.

From Rachel Corrie to Aaron Bushnell, the blood is one, the killer is one. Lessons of solidarity continue to be learned and applied, as our people continue to teach the meaning of resistance, and dignity.

May we continue to learn, and teach, until the land, drenched with our sacrifices, bleeds no more.

Glory to the martyrs
